Disaster Case Management
Our Disaster Case Managers are a single point of contact to help people affected by wildfires recover. We can help you choose and apply for open local, state, and federal programs for firewood, debris removal, home repair or reconstruction, well and septic testing or repair, and more. Case Management services are free.

Contractor Connects Events
Our Disaster Case Management team hosts these events to connect residents impacted by the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon wildfires with licensed contractors in an effort to help residents begin the rebuilding process and avoid contractor fraud.

Recover New Mexico is a monthly newsletter distributed in communities impacted by the 2022 Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon wildfires.
Community Development Block Grant
The State of New Mexico has received $4.1 million through the Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR).
This Action Plan describes how the State plans to administer the funding. It is open for public comment through May 31, 2024.
